For parents whose child struggles to get started

When starting is the hardest part, a clear plan helps

You and your child plan the afternoon together, and Egendi helps them start activities on time, like homework. The app takes over the reminders, and your child sees their own progress.

Sound familiar?

Your child wants to do well. Starting is just hard.

Often the hardest part isn't the work itself, but the first step. Here's how Egendi helps.

I'll do it in a minute

“In a minute” turns into evening, and homework is left for the last hour before bed.

Reminders at the right time

The app reminds them when to start, and your child taps “Start activity”.

What do I do now?

Lots of free time after school and no plan, so the phone wins.

A clear plan after school

You plan the day together, and your child sees what's next and what comes after.

Have you started yet?

The same question every day, and you're both tired of reminders.

See it without asking

You see when an activity started and finished, so there's no need to ask.

Up late again

Homework finished late pushes back bedtime, and the morning starts tired.

Evenings stay free

Work is planned earlier, so there's time left for play and sleep.

What research says

How children learn to get started on their own

Egendi builds on what psychology research shows about habits, plans and independence.

66days

In one study, a new daily habit took 66 days on average to form. That's why Egendi is built for months of small steps, not a single week.

Lally et al., 2010, European Journal of Social Psychology
Plans with a time

Knowing when and where makes starting easier

A review of more than 90 studies found that deciding in advance when and where you'll do something makes reaching the goal much more likely.

Egendi: every activity has a set time, and your child sees what's next.

Support, not control

Independence grows when parents support it

Children whose parents supported their autonomy, rather than controlling them, were more self-motivated and did better at school.

Egendi: you build the plan together, then follow your child's progress instead of checking every step.

Stories of struggle

Struggles motivate, not just achievements

High school students who read about how famous scientists overcame failures improved their science grades. Those who read only about achievements did not.

Egendi: motivational content about overcoming setbacks in areas your child cares about.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who plans the schedule?

Parents plan it together with their child. Your child sees their day in the app, gets reminders and starts activities on their own.

Is Egendi suitable for a child with ADHD?

Egendi is designed with children who find it hard to get started and stick to routines in mind: a clear plan, reminders and small steps. It is not a treatment and does not replace professional advice.

Do we need a smartwatch?

No. The schedule, reminders and activity times work without one. If your child has a smartwatch or fitness band, you'll also see sleep and activity.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

You can choose a Premium plan or keep using the free plan.

How many children can I add?

One child on the free plan and the trial. Premium plans are for 1, 2 or 3 children in one family account.

Won't my child feel watched?

Egendi is about structure, not surveillance. You see what's happening and your child's progress, and your child sees the same. The goal is for your child to gradually start activities on time without your reminders.

Who can see our data?
